Attendance
The college follows the current rules of theThiruvalluvar University. Attendance
Register and continuous internal assessment is compulsorily implemented. 75% of
attendance is compulsory for each semester in each course. The students will not
be allowed to write the examination if they do not have the minimum attendance.
Condonation of Attendance:
Details of condonation of attendance for the students who do not have required attendance:
- In a Semester, the student who holds 65% of attendance must pay Rs. 250/- as condonation
fee and receive the permission orders to write the exam.
- Those who hold 50% and above, or less than 65% must pay Rs. 250/- as condonation
fee and receive the permission orders to write the exam in the next semester only.
- Those who hold less than 50% of attendance, after the completion of their period
of study, must get re-admitted to complete the required attendance to write the
exam in the same semester.
Rules and Regulations for Students
- Students should wear clean and neat dress during their regular classes and college
functions.
- Students should wish their teachers whenever they get into the class room.
- To get into the Department Room / Laboratory / Office Room, the student should get
permission from the corresponding authority.
- Students should not involve in any caste / political / religious parties inside
the college premises.
- Damaging College properties will lead to severe punishments.
- Students can take their complaints (if any) to the Head of the Department for other
staff members. The students can meet Principal if necessary.
- Ragging is a severe crime. Legal actions will be initiated against the students
who indulge in ragging.
Identity Card
The students carry their Identity Cards always and produce the same on demand to
the college authorities.
Attendance
- Each Semester consists of 90 ( Ninety ) working days.
- Only those students who earn at least 75% of attendance in each Semester will be
allowed to attend the examinations.
- The responsibility lies with the students to attend classes, earn attendance and
to know their attendance status from their HOD.

I Shift : 8.40 am to 1.20
